At BadX, creating a safe, positive and supportive environment for all players is a priority. We are committed to promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults and ensuring coaching takes place within a safe and respectful environment.
Our Commitment
BadX is committed to creating an environment where players can learn, develop and enjoy badminton safely and confidently regardless of age, ability or experience level.
Qualified Coaching
Coaching sessions are delivered by a Badminton England Level 2 qualified coach with safeguarding training and an Enhanced DBS check.
Respect & Inclusion
All players and parents are expected to contribute to a positive environment built around respect, encouragement and inclusiveness.
Junior Players
For junior coaching sessions, communication may involve parents or guardians where appropriate to support welfare, safety and coaching arrangements.
Photography & Media
Photographs or videos may occasionally be taken for coaching or promotional purposes. Permission will always be requested where appropriate.
Raising Concerns
Any safeguarding concerns or welfare issues should be raised immediately. BadX takes concerns seriously and will act appropriately and sensitively.
